We are presenting the 4 part training series hosted at online from April 1st - April 22nd. Below are details on the series dates, names, and the link to the class materials for past classes.
Entrepreneurship: Business Launch Pad is a practical, multi workshop course designed to help participants evaluate and develop a business idea using real world advisory methods. The course focuses on readiness, financial understanding, business model analysis, and structured research rather than theory or pitching.
Participants move through the same process used in business advising by assessing personal and financial readiness, understanding pricing and break even fundamentals, analyzing how a business works using the Business Model Canvas, and using AI tools responsibly to support research and planning. The goal is to provide clear structure, reduce uncertainty, and help participants make more informed business decisions.
Class #1
Business Foundations and Readiness
April 1st, 2026
5:30 PM - 6:30 PM
Participants assess their readiness to start or grow a business by reviewing personal budget, financial position, liabilities, and credit awareness. The workshop introduces the foundational elements required to operate a business, including business structures, licenses, permits, regulatory agencies, and key identifiers such as UBI, EIN, TIN, UEI, and BOI.

Pricing, Cost Structure, and Break Even Fundamentals
April 8th, 2026
5:30 PM - 6:30 PM
Participants learn how businesses make financial decisions by identifying costs, setting prices, and calculating break even points. Using a food based business example, students work through cost structure, contribution margin, and pricing strategy to understand how financial assumptions impact sustainability and decision making.
Class #3
Business Model Analysis and Iteration
April 15, 2026
5:30 PM - 6:30 PM

April 22nd, 2026
5:30 PM - 6:30 PM
Participants learn how to use AI tools to support business research, test assumptions, and improve decision making.
